Library Funding

Clermont County Public Library receives its revenue from several sources. The state legislature provides the majority of the funding from its biennial budget, while additional money comes from local property taxes. CCPL recently passed a $.9 Mil operating levy in 2008. Library fines and fees provide the last, and smallest, portion.

51% of the Library’s funding, $4,551,706.70, came from the Public Library Fund (PLF) as allocated by the state legislature in 2010.

CCPL revenue from local property tax prior to the passage of the 2008 levy stood at $1,200,000. The library's estimated collection after the levy passage was $4,097,547.13.
