Our Volunteers Make a Difference

Williamsburg Branch

Williamsburg currently has about 14 active volunteers. Several of these volunteers are high school students who volunteer a couple of hours a month, primarily during the school year. Our volunteers help with our Book Fairs, Holiday Open House and Daycamp. Volunteers are also essential for shelving at Williamsburg. Weeding, cleaning toys, straightening shelves, picking up outside trash and craft preparation are a few of the other tasks with which volunteers assist us.

In the past couple of years our volunteers have purchased a cooler to hold beverages for programs, a supply cabinet for program supplies and have helped fund the Summer Reading Program for the last two years.
